Ready, Fire, Aim

Everyone has heard of the statement...Ready, Aim, Fire and likely understand the logic of the commands and the order.

You ready yourself, take aim at a target and then fire!

However, how many of you have experimented with a change in the order of these commands...
Ready, Fire, Aim?

We live in a society where we have a tendency to over analyse things which sometimes can cause us to procrastinate unnecessarily and delay beginning an important piece of work or project. Sometimes if we marry this with a "perfectionist" mindset we may never think that we are adequately prepared to commence anything.
There is always the thought that there is a better way to do something or I could have prepared better in fact, I am sure that you have heard of people who require every last piece of information and evidence before they will even consider committing to a course of action.

To assist people who procrastinate unnecessarily and to allow more people to get their ideas and projects underway how about considering the following command instead and see whether it helps you begin to achieve something...
Ready, Fire, Aim...maybe the best approach, realising that it is always possible to review what you have done along the way and improve the process.

At the end of the day it may be more about producing and then refining your effort rather than getting it absolutely right the first time.
Use this strategy when paralysed by procrastination or excessive analysis and see whether your trophy cabinet starts to expand.
